Fat Burners & Thermogenics

How much caffeine is in a serving?

It varies a lot, so read the panel. Believe Energy Burner lists 150 mg caffeine per 4.35 g scoop and Allmax Caffeine 200 mg per tablet, while Magnum Heat Accelerated draws caffeine from several sources, including guarana, green tea, kola nut and yerba mate.

Are there stimulant-free options?

Yes. ANS Diablo Liquid Carnitine 3000 lists L-carnitine (1,500 mg per 7.5 ml serving) and pantothenic acid, with no caffeine on its panel, and Ballistic Labs Night Ops is labelled for use 30 minutes before bed. Check each panel if you avoid stimulants.

What ingredients do these formulas use?

Common label ingredients include caffeine, green tea extract, L-carnitine, garcinia cambogia, cayenne and CLA. Believe Energy Burner, for example, lists 300 mg green tea, 300 mg garcinia cambogia and 1,500 mg L-carnitine tartrate per scoop.

When do the labels say to take them?

Follow the label for your product. Magnum Heat Accelerated splits its servings between before breakfast and before exercise or lunch, Ballistic Labs AMMO BURN says to wait 3 to 4 hours between doses, and ANS Diablo is labelled for 30 minutes before exercise on workout days.

Can I combine one with a pre-workout or coffee?

Caffeine adds up across products. Add the caffeine in your pre-workout, coffee and energy drinks to the amount on the panel, follow each label's cautions, and ask a healthcare practitioner if you're unsure.
